The Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Alhaji Taiwo Abiodun Odumbo, has lauded the six council chairmen in Ikorodu Division for their meaningful impacts on education within their 100 Days in office.
Today marked the 100 days that Prince Adedayo A. Ladega, Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju – Chairman, Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Olawale Apanishile, Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Hamed Olalekan Aroyewun, Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba – Chairman, Ijede LCDA and Hon. Sunday Benson, Chairman, Imota LCDA, and the 51 other council chairmen across Lagos State, were inaugurated into offices.
In a statement commemorating the day, Alhaji Odumbo extended the LGEA’s congratulations to his bosses, expressing appreciation to their commitment to educational infrastructural renewal and development.

“I, on behalf of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu, extend my warmest congratulations to the six distinguished Executive Chairmen of Ikorodu Division, as they mark their first 100 days in office.
“Your leadership has already begun to leave a meaningful imprint on the educational landscape of our dear Division. We deeply appreciate your commitment to educational infrastructural renovations and development, ensuring our schools are safe, conducive, and inspiring environments for learning.
“Provision of amenities and learning materials, which have empowered pupils and enhanced their academic experience.

“Organising academic enrichment programs, provision of securities for our schools, making them a safe haven, and other initiatives that promote excellence and intellectual growth”, the LGEA Secretary said.
He also emphasised how the six council helmsmen have ensured collaboration and partnership with the LGEA, to create conducive and workable environment for administrators, teachers and pupils.
“Most importantly, your dedication to fostering a strong and collaborative relationship with the LGEA, Ikorodu, has created a synergy that is visibly improving learning outcomes across our public primary schools.

“As you continue your journey in service, may your efforts yield even greater impact, and may the seeds you’ve sown in these first 100 days blossom into lasting transformation for the children and families of Ikorodu Division”.
